2008 and 2009
Each year we sign the kids up for the kids Apple Blossom Run...and each year Matt runs along with the kids for the 1 mile...and each year Matt is sore for a couple days after...what a sweetheart.
The kids did so good! Mommy and Melanie waited at the finish line and cheered them all on...somebody had to do it.

They take the bottom tag off their race number of the first 20 kids that make it across the finish line first and then post their results somewhere...Hunter made it! We don't know what number yet.
We then watched the parade...this isn't our favorite activity...but we catch it every other year or so.
The kids school all pick a color for the year and then tye dye shirts for the family for 5 bucks each. This year was blue. The kids love it...amazing what you do for your kids. This is the ONLY time we match as a family...and the ONLY time Matt and I match. Some lady sitting next to us in the parade said, " how cute you all match, where did you get your shirts?" Matt was less than amused.
