Okay... everything was going so smoothly...trimming the tree.
christmas music was playing...
we were all reminiscing over our special ornaments...
until it was time to put the star on...

Then all of sudden we explained to the kids that because we got such a tall tree this year, we would have to alter our Christmas tradition of each the kids taking turns being lifted up on Daddy's shoulder to put the star on the top....
Oh dear.... what is this I hear?

So Daddy and I couldn't bear to hear him talk of how it was our family TRADITION...and how could we not do it this year!!! So...

Tradition is the glue of life. It provides a balance beam preventing us from falling off the cliff of uncertainty. Well done Matt and Hunter you saved the day with your Christmas tradition.
