Tonight for Family Home Evening we made a manger for baby Jesus. I bought this book for this years Christmas book pic. (It is a wonderful book) Like the story, we are making a manger and then we will draw names each week. Secretly, we can do nice things for that person and each time we do we can put a piece of straw into our manger. Our goal is for our manger to be nice and full for baby Jesus on Christmas morning. The kids were very excited about it all. So tonight we drew names, and made the manger. Hunter ate his paper with the name...true to the book.

How Wonderful.. You always come up with so many ways to inspire your children to be kind to others. Wish I could have been there to help. Building things suits my talents better than cooking or baking.
when i saw the first picture, it showed hunter swinging around those sticks, so i thought this blog was a wrestling night, but apparently not once i read the paragraphh.
