Christmas Party

This weekend we had our first Alphabet Garden Christmas Party with all the girls and their families. Yummy dinner, fun games with prizes...(we played a mean game of Christmas charades). Finally we had an hilarious white elephant present exchanged. I got to come home with these beauties...boxer brief hand gloves.

I gave a leopard snuggie and Matt gave a Twilight Edward poster. At the end of the night we presented the girls with a Christmas bonus...what fun!!!

Fashion Police

Matt was so impressed with my morning fashion sense
when I take the kids to school each day, he wanted to make sure he
took a few pictures of me looking so cute. One of these days I just know
I am going to get pulled over and have to sport my look to the police...
at least it wont' be the fashion police.

It's T-R-A-D-I-T-I-O-N!!!!

Okay... everything was going so smoothly...trimming the tree.

christmas music was playing...
we were all reminiscing over our special ornaments...
until it was time to put the star on...

Then all of sudden we explained to the kids that because we got such a tall tree this year, we would have to alter our Christmas tradition of each the kids taking turns being lifted up on Daddy's shoulder to put the star on the top....

Oh dear.... what is this I hear?
sniff sniff....

Hunter apparently REALLY liked this tradition, and didn't want to see it go away...

So Daddy and I couldn't bear to hear him talk of how it was our family TRADITION...and how could we not do it this year!!! So...

Daddy teetered on the edge of ladder with Hunter on his shoulder.
And true to tradition, put the star on the 12 ft tree...(without injury I might add)

Daddy saves the day again...

Our hero!!!

Oh Christmas Tree

Well another great storybook experience cutting down the tree! I just LOVE this family owned place. They are just so darn cute and I love supporting them and their business. The kids loved it and best of all, it has earned a special spot as a beloved "family tradition". We brought the Rose's out to our special spot this year. Good times, good times.

Hunter Actually CAN'T see.

Well it was bound to happen sooner or later. One of my offspring would be cursed with my eyesight. I have HORRIBLE eye sight, in fact I am legally blind. So, when Hunter said he was having a hard time reading things far away, you would think I would of believed him. However I kept saying, "oh you can too read that!" I thought he just wanted them, some kind of Harry Potter thing. Well it turned out I was wrong and he actually couldn't see...loser mom I am. Anyway, doesn't he look sooooo cute!

Little Reindeer

Logan's First Grade Christmas musical was tonight. All the reindeer's in the play had to turn and wiggle their cute little tails. He said he wasn't too excited about the wiggling part, but you could tell he was excited for his big debut. I was very proud of him. It was very cute, my especially my little reindeer.
