McDonalds Tradition

Daddy is out of town which hasn’t been too bad these days, we miss him terrible but we manage, we went to mcydees for dinner as our tradition always is. I love being with the kids, they are a hoot. Just before we went Hunter came in from playing out in the snow with his neighbor buddies and got completely wet and snow covered to the core. He was just standing there and then all of a sudden started to cry and because he was sooo cold. That is what he does skiing, just says all of a sudden, okay I am done, no more, I am miserable and starts to cry. So I ran the bath let him wade in it since he didn’t want to get in and then we went to Mcdonalds with two blankets in tow to keep them all warm. I get such a hoot and what they put on, I rarely tell them to change because I know it won’t be forever. Today Jess and Logan were playing on the sleds out in the front and I stopped to have a hot chocolate break and just watch them. I love watching them. Jess in her pink zip up jammies and and Hunters Sunday sweater, a puffy vest , snow boots and the hat the neighbor lady made them (brown and red) straight out of the seventies!

On the mend...

I feel tons better today! So I spent a lot of the day cleaning up and catching up on housework that got missed for the last couple of days. I don’t think I hate being sluggish and down and out more than anything. Maybe toilets, or they come second.
I spend most of the afternoon doing all my returns, cashed in big time but it is a royal pain if I just didn’t buy all the stuff in the first place I wouldn’t have to return it all! We have a great new system seeing that we are sooo tight right now. Our goal is to chunk away at our credit card debt and so to do that we need to actually put the money on the card. Which never seems to happen. Sigh.

Uploading

Wow 2008! Well I am going to grab a minute while I am waiting for Jessica’s bus to get here. I am very sick with some kind of bad stomach virus. I feel like poop. I hate hate hate being down with illness. It feels so unproductive and sloth-like. I have been uploading new designs this week. Which so badly needs done. I really enjoy designing and enjoy seeing them up on the web, and even better when someone else buys them! Orders have slowed down quite a bit for January, which gives us a chance to catch up on our web design.
I really like working with Camilla, we are such a good team. We hit our one year anniversary in a couple months. We still are only getting a couple orders a month.

Passing It On

I really like to cross stitch. I don't think it is very "in". But nevertheless, I have always liked it. I haven't had time to do anything recently but I learned how when I was little, and I wanted to teach Jessica. She really liked it and caught on quick. Maybe it will come back "in" when she is older, who knows. Probably not. She is working on a pillow that says Jessica with flowers. Her own design.
